Vishrut exit his first technology venture on a white labeled mobile loyalty program, to a silicon valley entity that he helped raise a series A round. The cloud based solution awarded 4 Billion loyalty points to over one million active mobile app users.
In his prior corporate stints, he worked on unwinding of Lehman Brothers' derivatives book post bankruptcy in 2008. This aided settlement of multi billion dollar lawsuits against the likes of Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan and other Wall Street banks. As a consultant he carried out derivatives modeling at PGAM, a hedge fund run by Nobel Laureate, Myron Scholes. He also facilitated fund NAV calculations at the George Soros owned hedge fund, Soros Funds Management. Further he managed derivatives instrument and pricing data at Standard and Poors. He executed his consulting assignments while working as an Advisory Consultant at GoldenSource and as a Director of Professional Services at Numerix LLC in New York City.
As a student he was a research assistant to professor Hans Stoll, author of first paper on put call parity in options contracts. He also worked on question answering systems (in similar domain as IBM Watson), while enrolled in the University of Washington graduate program for application of Artificial Intelligence to Medicine. He had been a Guest speaker on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the IEEE Skills Enhancement Program in Mumbai. Vishrut holds a BS in computer engineering and an MBA from Vanderbilt.
